Exactly what is Dri-Wash 'n Guard®?

DRI WASH N GUARD® is a combination car wash, polish and protective glaze which is applied directly to a dirty surface without the use of water, it contains no waxes, nor is it simply a polish.

Waxes do a good job of "protecting" but often leave the paint dull. Polishes are great at removing minor stains and blemishes, and are much more capable of rejuvenating dull paint. But polishes often are abrasive, and provide very little protection on the paint surface. Paint sealants protect very well, but cannot clean or polish. A vehicle's paint must be virtually pristine before the sealants can be applied. DRI WASH 'n GUARD® combines the best features of waxes, polishes and paint sealants without any of the drawbacks.

Why is it possible to apply DRI WASH `n GUARD® over dirt without water?

When you use DRI WASH `n GUARD®, thousands of tiny droplets of the product lubricate and emulsify to lift dirt particles, suspending them off the surface until they are carried away in the buffing towel. The dirt particles never touch the surface so they cannot abrasively scratch it. That's why some of the most expensive and rare show cars in the world now sport a DRI WASH `n GUARD® shine.

How do I care for my vehicle between DRI WASH 'n GUARD® applications?

It's EASY, All you need is two soft terry towels-a small washcloth and a hand towel. Wet the smaller one with water until it is almost dripping, then lightly run over the area to be cleaned (such as the hood). DO NOT RUB HARD. The dirt and water will not stick to the DRI WASH 'n GUARD® on the surface. Now take the dry, larger towel and lightly buff the area dry. That exclusive DRI WASH 'n GUARD® shine will come right back. Ordinarily, one wetting of a small washcloth is enough to finish an entire car.

A little common sense will help here-if your car is really dirty with caked mud, pebbles, etc. remove it from the surface with care.

How durable is DRI WASH 'n GUARD®?

A vehicle surface protected by DRI WASH 'n GUARD® will bead water for a year or more, even on windshields which are scrubbed by wiper blades, ice scrapers, etc. When applied to paint on a new vehicle, then reapplied twice a year, the paint will not fade. Once oxidation begins, however, it cannot be stopped, only slowed. On older, extremely oxidized paint, DRI WASH 'n GUARD® may need to be applied as often as every 2-3 months, even though the paint is still protected and beading water. DRI WASH 'n GUARD® helps protect against the effects of high sun exposure, acid rain and road salt.

What sets DRI WASH `n GUARD® All-Weather Tire Treatment apart from other tire cleaners?

Because of DRI WASH `n GUARD's® technologically advanced polymeric emulsion, it will clean revitalize and condition rubber, vinyl, textured plastics and other porous surfaces. Exclusively formulated with seven synergistic ingredients, it provides UV protection, weather protection and water resistance. Tires will buff to a high luster without the artificial-looking shine left by other products. Can DRI WASH `n GUARD® Premium Metal Polish be used on any unpainted surface?

No. Premium Metal Polish is so good it can polish the bottom of a soft drink can to an almost mirror-like finish. It can also, however, remove certain kinds of metal plating, such as the gold plating of some luxury car hubcaps and trim. Always test on an inconspicuous place first.

How are the DRI WASH `n GUARD® home products used?

You can use our simple products to clean and polish anything from appliances to shower stalls to computer screens. Do not, however, apply the home products on tile floors or other slick floor surfaces. They will cause the surface to become slippery when wet. Do not apply the home products on vehicle paint.

What is the advantage of DRI WASH `n GUARD® Leather & Vinyl Treatment?

Unlike other leather or vinyl cleaners, Dri-Wash 'n Guard® Leather & Vinyl Treatment is a one-step cleaner that also conditions and protects the material being cleaned. There is no need for additional conditioners. Leather & Vinyl Treatment also provides protection from harmful ultra-violet rays.

What is the best way to apply DRI WASH `n GUARD® Upholstery, Fabric & Carpet Treatment?

There is nothing in this exclusive formulation that can harm fabric, upholstery or carpeting if too much is applied. It is more efficient, however, to use the spray applicator bottle. It ensures a measured and even application of this one-step cleaner, protectant and deodorizer (including smoke odor).

How soon can DRI WASH 'n GUARD® be applied to a repainted vehicle?

Both the paint industry and the automobile industry generally endorse a 90-day waiting period for newly painted vehicles, during which time thinning solvents evaporate from the paint, allowing it to cure. DWG International endorses that industry standard.

Why should you have your car detailed?

Having your Vehicle detailed and regularly maintained will help your vehicle to retain its value and increase trade-in value. It will also reduce reconditioning costs upon lease termination, thus saving you money.

How often should I have my car washed, waxed or detailed?

Depending on how you use and garage your car, you should have it washed bi-weekly,waxed or polished every 60 to 90 days, and completely detailed once or twice a year.

My car is leased, do I still need to have it detailed?

YES! It's very important to have leased cars detailed, because when you turn in the vehicle to the leasing company or trade it for another, it is appraised on its appearance and overall condition. The better the condition and maintenance the more you will get in trade or the less they will charge you for reconditioning. At the very minimum you should have the vehicle detailed by a professional just before the trade in or return of the vehicle.

Maintenance plans allow the detailer to keep your vehicle looking its best at all times, and save you the hassle of taking it to be washed or to the detail shop.
